It is what everyone dreads, the packing and the delivery days, that thought of moving, but dont panic as there are many ways to make the process easier.

The main thing is to choose a removalist you feel comfortable with, if you have employed a relocation consultant to help with your departure then they can help give you recommendations.

In the lead up to the move, make sure you use as much from your pantry as you can, donate anything that you are unlikely to use again, and keep a box of essentials you  will need for when you move to your new home. Throw away anything that is not good enough and learn from my experience clean everything out of your freezer or you could end up finding a very unpleasant surprise at the other end.

And remember its a good time to declutter!!

Pets in Rentals:

Many of our clients I relocate to PERTH  want to bring their pets with them and as most of them are coming from overseas and are looking to rent properties, The reality is that most landlords do not  want pets in their properties. This can make an already tight rental market even  tighter with most landlords opting to choose a family without a pet for their rental property.

I like to advise our clients to get a reference on their pet,  this can be obtained from a real estate agent they are currently renting  through or if they own an existing property to ask the agent they are using to  sell their property to write a written reference stating that their pet has not damaged their current home. As this will then increase their chances of winning a real estate agent over in obtaining a rental property with pets.
